His initial reaction to his predicament was that you've somehow cast a spell or something on him to deliberately make him lose focus. He didn't know why he was thinking about you so much, why were you occupying his thoughts when he was supposed to be focused on winning the tournament. Of course, his attention was upon you once again. He had a responsibility on his shoulder, he had to make his Academy proud and as he entered the room to put his name in the Goblet, everyone except for you paid attention to him. He had no time to dwell upon his curiosity because after a few days it was time for him to submit his name in the Goblet of Fire. He was curious about what you were writing, while the rest of the rest of the other students were busy paying attention to the instructions, you were busy writing something He liked the starry night sky above on the ceiling, it was a nice touch and as he kept looking around, his eyes landed on you as you were busy writing something in your book.

He glanced around the Great Hall, it was pretty impressive. He took his seat with the Slytherin table and listened to Dumbledore and Crouch speak about the cup. He was greeted with awe and applause when he and Karkaroff and the other Durmstrang students entered. He couldn't believe the Tournament was taking place considering the number of death rates that happened because of it but he enjoyed a little risk every now and then. He wouldn't think about being in a relationship till he comes to Hogwarts for the Triwizard Tournament to compete for Durmstrang Some were envious but that was part of the package deal when you become famous, you live with both sides, the admiration and hatred from the people.

He had everything he could ask for, he had exceptional Quidditch skills, he was on one of the most reputed Quidditch teams of the Wizarding World and he had people admiring him at every step of the way. He never gave love much thought nor did he find the need or necessity to think about love in the first place. Viktor never really thought of falling in love with anyone before.
